Lee Cooper has been a police officer in Kennewick, Washington since 2002. For the past 15 years Lee has been part of the traffic unit as a motor officer. His primary responsibilities are to enforce traffic laws and to respond to, and investigate, traffic collisions. Lee is a collision investigation instructor for the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission. Lee is certified as a Collision Reconstructionist through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR #3175). He is also a police motorcycle instructor. Lee has instructed for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation as a Rider Coach and for the International Police Mountain Bike Association.
Lee is a certified Bosch CDR technician and EDR (Event Data Recorder) analyst.
Lee is an FAA licensed UAV (drone) pilot.
